Features of the Howarth Park Tennis Courts

 

Howarth Park offers five tennis courts, available on a first-come, first-served basis.
 

• Lighted Courts: The courts are equipped with lights, allowing for evening play until 10 p.m. To activate the lights, players can use free-operated timers.
   

• Convenient Location: Situated at 630 Summerfield Road, Santa Rosa, CA 95405 within the larger Howarth Park, the tennis courts offer easy access to restrooms, picnic areas, and other park amenities, making it an ideal destination for an outing with family or friends.

Important Renovation Update
 

The City of Santa Rosa is planning significant renovations for the tennis and pickleball courts at Howarth Park. The project, which is scheduled to begin in Spring 2026, will fully renovate all existing courts. The new layout will feature four dedicated tennis courts and six dedicated pickleball courts.

 

This renovation is designed to enhance the overall playing conditions and better accommodate the increasing number of players in both sports. We will provide updates on the project as they become available.
